The Bataleon Party Wave snowboard is a novelty in the brand's lookbook, a novelty that steals the rider's heart from the first moment. Fast, agile and at the same time stable and easy to drive. To say multitasking is like saying nothing. Hard, prepared slope and crazy carving at high speed, surfing in powder or racing in spring slush - Party Wave works great in all conditions.
Driving style
It is difficult to clearly classify the Bataleon Party Wave snowboard into one riding style. We much prefer to define it as a board full of fun, reaching riders of many levels and representing different approaches to snowboarding. Crazy carving nothing Tyler Chorlton, fast technical skiing or swimming in fresh powder with a typical surf feeling - this is Party Wave and it's hard to describe it other than: really fun board.
This model is like 99% of snowboards coming out of the factory under the name Snowboard Battalion is provided with the brand's proprietary patent viz Triple Base Technology specifically its variant Pow 3BT . This solution is characterized by a very narrow middle part of the board and a long widening nose, thanks to which you can easily float in fresh snow. The surfing feeling is also enhanced by the short tail, which makes the Bataleona Party Wave a very maneuverable board, designed to explore off-piste areas.
From fresh fallout, leaving pristine tracks to riding in spring slush, that's where Party Wave excels.
Snowboards equipped with Triple Base Technology thanks to the raised edges, they are fast and stable when driving straight, while the three-dimensional shape of the slide (central bulge) facilitates the initiation of turns and makes them less effort. When riding on the flat part of the base, only the middle part is in contact with the ground, which makes it much harder to catch the edge, while already during the initiation of the turn, the 3D shape creates a full arc with the snow, which guarantees excellent edge grip.
Snowboards equipped with Triple Base Technology they are camber boards from nose to tail - camber under the rider's weight is properly pressed to the ground and the raised edges make the board have full contact of the effective edge with the ground in a turn.
The Bataleon Party Wave snowboard is based on a poplar core Core Core, which has a lot of pop.
The core of the snowboard is protected by a layer of biaxial fiberglass, thanks to which the board retains its full elasticity. The Wallie also has basalt strips that run edge to edge in the insert area, resulting in faster torsion transfer while increasing stability without affecting the board's natural flex.
In addition, the Bataleon Party Wave snowboard has been equipped with Side Kick Tips - a solution based on raising the edge in the widest part of the nose and tail. This solution makes the initiation of turns even easier and, in addition, the buoyancy of the board when riding in powder has significantly improved, and thus driving the board in difficult terrain is easier than before.
The Bataleon Party Wave snowboard has a Super Slick X base , which is the densest of the pressed bases available on the market. Thanks to the high molecular content, this slide is very fast and durable, while remaining completely maintenance-free for a long time.
Bataleon Snowboards is a global selling brand that has been manufacturing snowboards for over 19 years. It is a top premium brand known in the snowboard world with Triple Base Technology. Boards made in TBT technology are cut transversely in the nose and tail area (similarly to the bottom of the boat), so you can see three zones on the planing surface. This solution means that the support is limited by the edge, and in powder the board "floats" more easily on the snow. Bataleon boards are made in Austria using supplier quality materials. This season, the Tripple Base Technology has been made even better. First of all, the SIDE KICK has been improved by raising the edge in the widest part of the nose and tail. What really works on board function in powder and improves intuitiveness when initiating turns. The second important novelty to the so-called SUPER TUBES, i.e. carbon tubes inserted into the core of the board. To solve the problem of weight "slimming" the board while maintaining the same flex and maintaining its correct form!
